Etsy → Notion Sync

Completed

Super simple inventory management.

Why this matters

Keeping Notion in step with the live shop is manual today, and Etsy only shows current state — past prices, stock levels, and listing lifecycles are lost unless recorded. Also the groundwork API learning for future Etsy experiments.

Hypothesis

A daily read-only capture can keep Notion inventory current with zero manual edits and unlock time-based analysis (price history, stock depletion, view trends) that Etsy itself doesn't offer.

Exec Summary

A scheduled, read-only tool that captures a complete versioned history of Etsy shop listing data (Etsy Open API v3, append-only SQLite) and mirrors current price/quantity/status into the Notion Inventory database. One-directional Etsy → Notion; never writes to Etsy.

Impact score7/15
5Solves a daily problem I face, would use constantly
4Solves a regular problem, would use frequently
3Solves an occasional problem, would use sometimes
2Solves a rare problem, would use rarely
1No personal use case, wouldn't use it myself

Keeping the Notion inventory database in step with the live Etsy shop was a manual chore, and Etsy only shows current state — past prices, stock levels, and listing lifecycles are lost unless recorded. The sync now runs against the live shop with live Notion writes, targeting zero manual inventory edits per week. In constant real use. Stub — edit freely.
